by Jordan Harrison - 2015 Pulitzer Finalist
Nov 8 - Nov 24
Fri/Sat 7:30 pm, Sun 2:00 pm
Tickets: $38, Seniors/Students $34
Set 40 years in the future, 80 year-old Marjorie spends her days with her “prime” companion Walter, a machine that resembles her deceased husband and was created to feed her life stories back to her.
Issues of grief and depression are examined as Marjorie chooses what she wants to remember, and what she wants to erase. If given the same choice, what would you do?
Marjorie Prime is not a play about the people of the future. It is about the people of today and how the technology of the future can change their life, for better or worse.
A 2015 Pulitzer-prize finalist starring Daniel Balsamo, Peter Goldsmith, Joan McGrath, and Susan Steinmeyer. Directed by Wayne Mell. Produced by Wendy Kaplan.
